At Bring Balance, we believe clothing is more than just fabric and thread — it’s the sum of many quiet, thoughtful hands that bring our vision to life.
In the spirit of #FashionRevolutionWeek, we’re pulling back the curtain to show you our full manufacturing process — from the initial baby steps to the final package — and introduce you to the incredible people who make it all possible.
These are the makers behind your clothes. These are the humans behind Bring Balance.
🧵 Design & Ideation
It begins with a question: “How will this piece live with you?”
Our design process is slow and reflective. Every silhouette is created with ease, comfort, and movement in mind. We sketch, source swatches, and test silhouettes for all sizes and body shapes until each piece feels just right — versatile, breathable, and timeless.
🧶 Sourcing Fabrics
We work with artisan-led clusters across West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu to source handwoven, natural fabrics like khadi, linen, cotton, and silk. We want to explore more traditional fabrics as we go along. These materials carry generations' textures, stories, and cultural legacy — no two handwoven fabrics are the same.
✂️ Pattern Making & Cutting
Once we have our fabrics and trims ready, our Masterji, Hazarilal ji, plays a pivotal role. With decades of experience, he translates the sketches into perfectly fitting patterns, adjusting every curve with care. Once finalised, the fabrics are cut in small batches, minimising waste and maximising intention.
🧵 Stitching & Sewing
The magic happens at the hands of the stitching team:
Pappu bhai, Iqbal bhai, and Mohan ji.
Each piece is assembled slowly — no rush, no shortcuts — with every seam checked for strength and finish.
🪡 Finishing & Detailing
The small details — they matter most.
From attaching buttons to quality checks, Meenu Tai ensures that each piece is finished with attention and love. She catches the little things most wouldn’t notice, adding that final touch of polish.
🧺 Ironing, Packing & Dispatch
Finally, the clothes are gently ironed and folded by Raju bhai, who also manages the packaging process. We reuse and repurpose plastic bags, packaging materials and other waste materials as much as possible, so all pieces are packed in eco-conscious materials and sent off to meet you.
